Schedule/Curriculum
- The 2020 standard session of NEDW will run from August 10-21 on weekdays, 1-4 pm EST
- An ordinary 3-hour class will cover 30 minutes of reviewing concepts, 30 minutes of lab time, 1 hour of drilling, and, depending on the day, 1 hour of practice rounds/feedback or guest lectures.
- NEDW is committed to seeing results; although the session begins with a focus on public speaking skills, the amount of practice rounds with feedback from nationally ranked debaters will increase as the session progresses. Our responsible lab leaders may also re-design curriculum to fit students based on identified weaknesses and strengths.

- For the latter group, the camp's focus will be on the September-October topic, giving them an edge on research before the season begins.
- Students will be placed into labs with a 4:1 student-instructor ratio to optimize their learning experience - this ratio is preferred as each student will be able to concurrently participate in practice rounds during lab times.
